Research In Motion (RIM) announced the global availability of BlackBerry ® Messenger (BBM ™) Social Platform SDK 1.0 for the final version of the BlackBerry Java and BlackBerry ® Messenger (BBM ™) Social Platform 1.0 SDK for BlackBerry WebWorks ™ public beta version first. BlackBerry ® Messenger Social Platform SDK is a toolset that allows developers to build a new class of super application that leverages the power of social interaction BlackBerry ® Messenger. BlackBerry ® Messenger has more than 45 million active users worldwide and growing more than 2 million active users per month.

Fuel 6 will support the Social Platform applications using fuel.
