Time ago we heard rumors of RIM will develop a media box similar to Apple TV, but not much we know about it. This time we see the extra bit more info about it. If the rumors are true, then we will see the launch around the end of the year. If done correctly, there should be applications and utilities for BlackBerry devices, including smartphones and tablets to be able to communicate with the media box, such as the Apple TV provide for his device.
