BlackBerry JamHack scheduled to take place in ten different cities across APAC for two consecutive weeks. Winning
teams from each city will have the opportunity to represent their
country in the final which will take place in JamHack BlackBerry Jam
Asia on 29 to 30 November 2012.40-hour
event will provide an opportunity for the four-member team of
developers, UI designers, and / or marketer to work on applications for
BlackBerry 10. To ensure that each team is properly equipped for the challenge, they will be supported by round the clock support from RIM Developer Relations team.
Throughout the event, RIM team will share market insights tailored to the respective cities so developers can develop the relevant markets and the global application of interest. In addition, the two-day session will also include a 'share' the aptly named as JamBytes. During this session, participants will have the opportunity to learn tips and tricks related to the BlackBerry platform 10, advice on how to improve their BlackBerry 10 applications, and commercial strategies for marketing applications through the BlackBerry App World.BlackBerry JamHack 2012 occurred in the top ten cities in Asia Pacific, as follows:
- Jammin 'on Oct 12-14, 2012: Delhi, Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila (GMT 5.5 to 8)
- Jammin 'on Oct 19-21, 2012: Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Melbourne, Shanghai, Jakarta (GMT +7 to GMT +10)

On the BlackBerry Jam Asia, the team will have the opportunity to represent their city and compete in the final Asia Pacific. Not
only will every team will be judged by a panel of judges, but
participants of the BlackBerry Jam Asia will also be able to give voice
to identify the winner of the most interesting.The winning team identified the BlackBerry Jam Asia in Bangkok on November 29 to 30 will win the grand prize of:
- U.S. $ 10,000 in cash
- All expenses-paid trip to the global launch of BlackBerry 10
- BlackBerry App World ™ marketing for 2 months after the launch of the BlackBerry 10 in Asia, Middle East and Africa (if any) plus one week of marketing in North America, Latin America and Europe (where applicable)
- Dedicated technical and business consulting to three months after the market launch of the BlackBerry 10 teams
