Quite a few readers let us know about a new #BlackBerry10NYC contest RIM announced on twitter this morning. They are giving out 30 free passes to the BlackBerry 10 fan event in NYC at the end of this month for you and two guests around January 30th.
But the Gist is RIM is holding a second event in NYC after the Launch event, there is a Fan Party! To get into this Fan party all you have to do is be following @BlackBerry on twitter, and tweet a 10 word store to @BlackBerry about your excitement for BlackBerry10, make sure to include hashtag #BlackBerry10NYC,
They will also be giving the winners a free BlackBerry 10 phone when they leave. To enter you simply tweet your 10 word BlackBerry 10 excitement story following the terms and conditions here. You only get the BlackBerry 10 phone if you attend so make sure you can make the NYC event. Entries will be judged based on: (i) Creativity; (ii) Relevance; and (iii) Overall impression.
Pretty Great deal for those of you in the NYC Area! For those of you who aren’t in NYC don’t fret! RIM has yet to announce it, but Starting Jan 14th until Jan 17th RIM will be holding the exact same contest for Toronto. To enter you’ll need to do just as you would for NYC:
