application to download emails before turning off the data connection 0

Have you been looking for a safe, quick solution to read your e-mails in full length during flights so you can effectively use the time to work? It's a dilemma that most frequent flyers face. Flight Mode, Cortado's easy-to-use airplane or offline mode application, solves the problem! One click closes all of the BlackBerry smartphone's wireless connections, but not before incomplete e-mails are downloaded from the mail server. Now, you can comfortably read and answer e-mails after take-off with Flight Mode on your BlackBerry smartphone.

Click on the Flight Mode icon on your BlackBerry before take-off.
Flight Mode will start downloading incomplete e-mail content – either from the last 24 hours or all remaining incomplete messages, depending on your settings. Note: Flight Mode will not automatically download e-mail attachments!

Once the countdown is complete (default: 60 seconds), all wireless connections are disconnected and the device will be switched off.

Turn on your BlackBerry again once you’re airborne, and all wireless connections will remain deactivated - indicated by the now green Flight Mode icon. Simply click the Flight Mode icon again to reestablish the connections after landing.
