How to Fix IT Policy and Application Permission Errors 0

If you receive one of the error message:

• "The Application WhatsApp has attempted to open a connection inside the firewall and outside the firewall roomates is not allow by your IT policy"
• "Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessException"

It is possible that you are not given the appropriate permissions to WhatsApp or that your settings become corrupted. To fix the problem immediately be seen below:
 
1.Go into Options> Device
 



2.Select “Application Management”




 3.Choose WhatsApp and select “Edit Permissions”
 




4.Set WhatsApp Permissions to “Allow” and “Save”
 


5.After saving the new permissions, reboot your BlackBerry by removing the battery from the device.
 
If you are still having trouble doing the steps above, go to Options >> Security Options Firewal >> and select "Reset Firewall" from the menu. Be sure to save, and then reboot your BlackBerry by removing the battery from it for 30 seconds.
