BlackBerry Link Shows up with New Dev Alpha Update 1

We just got the leak to Link BlackBerry as a desktop replacement software for BlackBerry devices. Now we've stumbled upon some more evidence that the new software will be launched with BlackBerry 10 coming January 30.
Dev Alpha hardware relate to the PC asks you to download the BlackBerry link, where the installation appears to be blocked. The wizard then installs the necessary drivers for Alpha Dev to act as a USB drive.
BlackBerry link seems to just be a rebranding of the BlackBerry Desktop Software, offers the same features such as USB storage device backup and restoration, switch BlackBerry devices, and media synchronization.

The Alpha Dev, who has been recently updated to 10.9.9.339, now has built-in support for BlackBerry Link. Once connected to the computer, it displays a prompt that shows that they are trying to install the BlackBerry Link.

OS 10.0.09.2320 For BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Now Available for developers 0

BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha users will get to update to a new OS. RIM has officially released OS 10.0.09.2320 for developers. The update is available OTA and via the update page for PC users also on the official update page. We're not sure what's new and exciting in this one, so if you come across anything be sure to hit up the comments and let us know. Just think -- in a few weeks everyone will look forward to the BlackBerry 10 updates! :-)

Has leaked Download link for the latest in the BlackBerry Desktop Software v7.0.0.32 beta available on BlackBerry Beta Zone by opensourcebb.com been letting us know they are getting the latest beta version of BlackBerry Desktop Software

BlackBerry Desktop Manager is a desktop software from RIM for your backup, restore, manage data and applications and synchronize data to be secure with your Blackberry device to your computer desktop.

Download these can be installed without using the keycode betazone. Create a user who wants to try the beta version of desktop manager and do not have access to the Blackberry betazone, please try to install. (With your own risk)

The first of those two obsticles is easy to overcome; someone leaks the installer. The second issue would be trickier, or perhaps even impossible, except that RIM does a very silly thing in the packaging of the installer. I won’t go into details (because if RIM changes it these leaks won’t be possible), but what they do gives you access to a stock RIM Desktop Manager Installation package that doesn’t require a keycode.

Before you download, do take warning that this is a Beta product. It might not work for you (I myself have only tested it on Windows 7 x64) and, as a beta, it almost certainly will contain bugs.
