How to Find The Missing Icon on the BlackBerry Smartphone 0

Step 1: Check Folder 

The first place you should check is the various folders on your BlackBerry smartphone. If you still can not find a particular icon after checking your folder, the next step would be to identify if the icon is hidden.

Step 2: Checking Icon Hidden 

If you are using BlackBerry ® 6 or BlackBerry ® smartphone OS 7, you can use Universal Search to search for the hidden icons.To display the hidden icons without using the Universal Search, use the option "Show All Icons" at the sight of your Home screen. How to display the hidden icons 

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu 
2. Do one of the following:BlackBerry 6 and BlackBerry 7 - Select "Show All Icons"BlackBerry ® Device Software 5.0 and below - select "Show All"Note: If the option "Show All Icons" or "Show All" does not appear in the menu after the second step, there are no hidden icons on your device.

How to unhide icons 

1. Highlight the hidden icons are dimmed slightly 
2. Press the Menu button and select "Unhide Icon".

Step 3: Check the My World for Apps removed

 If you still can not find the icon, the next step is to review the list of uninstalled applications are available in the My World when using the BlackBerry App World ™ storefront. After reviewing the list, if you see an application or game that you want to reinstall, select and use the Reinstall option that appears in the upper right corner of the BlackBerry App World to get back on your smartphone.1. Step 4: Are You Using Other Themes?

1. From the Home screen or in a folder, select "Options" 
2. Select "Display / Display" and then "Screen Display" 
3. In the Theme section, do one of the following:Select "BlackBerry 6" themeSelect "BlackBerry 7" theme 
4. Press the Menu button and select "Enable / Activate"

BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 and below 

1. From the Home screen or in a folder select "Options" 
2. Select "Themes / Theme" followed by the device default theme 
3. Press the Menu button and select "Save / save".
